Hi everyone!! My name is Maddy Felix. I was born and raised in Lincoln. I am majoring in Speech-Language Pathology with minors in Education, Psychology, and International Studies. After graduation, I plan to go to graduate school—who knows where I’ll end up! I have absolutely loved serving as Sigma Chapter President. The friendships and memories I have made will stick with me for a lifetime. I cannot wait to continue the second half of my Presidency with you all. Welcome home!!!

Kylee Hines

VP Standards

Hi guys I’m Kylee and I am the Vice President of Standards for Kappa! I am from a SUPER small town, North Bend, Nebraska (about 2000 people total) and am a junior working towards a Human Development and Family Science major with a minor in Fashion Design. I plan to own my own clothing boutique some day. So long story short, I loooove clothes! However, my role as VPS is to make sure the chapter is up keeping Kappa Kappa Gamma values, standards, and policies. My committee and I promote unity and good morale as well as plan sisterhood events for the chapter! Welcome home :)

Assuuhh dude (ok sorry) I’m Katie(: I am an Elementary Education major from Papillion, NE. As VPO I handle the chapter calendar, organize & advise committees, and guide our semesterly Leading Consultant around Sigma chapter. (A Leading Consultant is a Kappa Nationals representative that visits once a semester to help guide the leadership of our chapter). I also offer opportunities for members to give feedback on events, leadership, etc. My goal this year is to ensure that all members feel important to our chapter (because you are!!). Some of my hobbies are eating an unhealthy amount of jimmy johns, watching the FEFE music video, and playing the ukulele. (sometimes all at once, if I’m feeling wild) I can’t wait to get to know all of you!!! Ok gotta blast y’all….

Hello! My name is Lauren Kubat and I am from Omaha, Nebraska. I am currently an Accounting major and Management minor in the College of Business Administration. My hobbies include singing, dancing, yoga, and writing. Some interesting facts about me are that I used to be a super competitive musical theater junkie, and I went to an all girls high school. It’s going to be a great year and I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you better!

Recording Secretary: Hello! My name is Maddie Mallisee! I am from a suburb outside of Des Moines, Iowa. I’m a Speech Pathology major with a double minor in psychology and educational studies. I have 4 big dogs (Newfoundland, Yellow Lab, Great Dane, German Shepherd) that I miss soooo much so whenever a puppy comes to the house my day is made! As the recording secretary, I keep track of members attendance to Monday night meetings and larger events like Philanthropy! I also take notes at meeting and send them out to the entire chapter afterwards. Welcome to Kappa, I can’t wait to get to know you guys!!!

Hi guys! I’m Liv and I’m Kappa’s Corresponding Secretary. I’m from Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. I’m Psychology major with a minor in Criminal Justice. My job as the Corresponding Secretary is to answer and send all of our chapter’s correspondence as well as organizing the mail and packages. I am so glad you chose Kappa and can’t wait for you to experience everything KKG has to offer!

Amanda Malashock

Hey Girlies!! My name is Amanda Malashock and I am your chapter Registrar! My major is in Communication of Science and Disorder with a pre pharmacy track! My job as the Kappa Registrar is to make sure the historical information is kept organized and accounted for. I am in charge of the Kappa Composite and the Sigma Scrapbook each year, and I also love sharing old Kappa photos from Sigma Chapter and fun facts at meeting! A fun fact about me is I love anything pink or sparkly! I can’t want to get to know and meet all of you, welcome to your home away from home!

Clare Ellerbee

Hey there! My name is Clare Ellerbee and I am from here in Lincoln. I am currently studying Secondary Education with an emphasis in Family and Consumer Sciences. I am the Sigma chapter Marshal. My job consists of keeping the rich traditions of Kappa alive, and teaching the chapter about our ritual and beautiful songs. Initiation is a huge part of my job in the fall. I also teach the chapter appropriate dress, and make sure that everyone is appropriate for meeting. I truly love the tradition and history of Kappa, and I really hope to share that passion with the whole chapter. Kappa is such a special place, and I am so excited to be able to share it with all of you. Welcome home, I hope you come to love it as much as all of us do!

Hi I’m Mollie! I’m from Phoenix, Arizona and I’m an Accounting major with a minor in Spanish. My role as the Education chairman is to help the Seniors with anything they may need as they begin the transition into an alum. My committee and I plan two banquets each year. In the spring, we have Celebrate Sigma which honors the seniors and recognizes all the hard work that each and every kappa has put in for the year. In the fall, we plan founders day which is a celebration of the founding of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I love traveling, cooking, and exercising, and I am obsessed with my dogs! Welcome to Kappa!

House Chairman

Helloo! I am Chloe Discoe and I was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska! I am majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Psychology and hope to work with a non-profit after graduation! My role as the KKG house chair is to work with the Kappa staff to make sure the house is a clean & organized place for our members to have an unforgettable living in experience at the infamous 616! My duties also include making sure that every member is following the house rules that are expected to be followed by every member across the board. Once a month, I meet with our house board and go over certain issues and plans we have for our AMAZING chapter in the future. I work with my committee to be my extra set of eyes and to help plan sisterhood events as well as a staff appreciation dinner for our lovely staff.

Hey guys, My name is Regina Brokke and I am from LaVista, NE. I am an accounting major, and I plan on getting my master’s degree, sitting for the CPA exam, and hopefully landing a job as an auditor at a public accounting firm! I am our chapters Membership chair which means I will be in charge of planning this upcoming recruitment, and I’m so pumped! Recruitment, while it is a lot of work, is one of my favorite weeks. Not only do we get to welcome new members, but we get so much closer as a chapter and as sisters. I’m really looking forward to getting closer with all of you. Welcome to Kappa! :)

Hey hey, New Members! My name is Alexa and I’m from a town of 700, rockin’ Bertrand, Nebraska! I am a sophomore Pre-Speech-Language Pathology major, minoring in Gerontology, Psychology, Education, and International Studies. (Believe it or not, I am SOMEHOW finishing in 4 years) As Kappa Kappa Gamma’s New Member Chairman, I work directly with you ladies. I am here to make Kappa feel like your home away from home and make sure your transition is as smooth as possible. I want you to be able to carry on a legacy that will last long past your college days. I plan Bid Day, Big/Little Reveal, sisterhood events, and many more fun things. I like to cruise and sing obnoxiously to music, so if you ever want to, my car holds five. I’m so excited to meet all of you! Rah Rah for Kappa and welcome home!

Hi sweet sisters!! My name is Samantha but you can call me Sam. I’m from Lincoln, Nebraska, and I study Biological Sciences. My role in Kappa as the Panhellenic Delegate is to attend weekly Panhellenic meetings in order to communicate information between Kappa and Panhel. Some of the things I will be responsible for throughout the year are Homecoming Week, Greek Week, and any other event that we have with another chapter on campus. My name is Anna Mantini, and I am your Public Relations chairman! I am a sophomore Pre-Nursing major! My role in Kappa includes running all social media accounts, planning fun PR events, planning all house and council pictures, and this year I will be coming out with a chapter newsletter!! My committee and I love to be creative and brainstorm new ideas for posts or events. I also delegate girls in my committee to run some accounts. Some things I love to do are hanging out with my friends, taking pictures, going on countless adventures, hanging out with my dogs, and laughing a lot!!! Hello everyone! My name is Ann Krause and I am a junior majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a Fine Arts minor. As your philanthropy chair, I coordinate all the volunteer opportunities around UNL’s campus and the community for Kappa. My committee and I also plan two big philanthropies and two mini philanthropies a year benefiting an organization Sigma Chapter members vote on. I am so excited you all have chosen Kappa to be your second home, I can’t wait to get to know and work with you all!

Hi friends! I’m Bri and I am the chapter’s Risk Management Chair! I grew up here in Lincoln, Nebraska and am a Marketing and Management major in the College of Business. As risk management chairman I work closely with Brook, the event chair, to assist in hosting all of the events and formals throughout the year. I also ensure that our chapter is safe and promote health and wellness. I am so happy to welcome you to this sisterhood and can’t wait to get to know you all!

Greetings New Members! My name is Lauren Leapley, your chapter Treasurer from Gretna, Nebraska. I’m an Accounting and Management major with a minor in Sales Excellence. My favorite things in this world are pepperjax steak bowls, dr.pepper, and the husker volleyball. If you ever need a sub for an intramural team you know who to ask. My committee works together to make sure we can finance the house and every council members objectives. The most challenging part of my position is tracking and making budgets but I enjoy having the opportunity to grow my relationships in Kappa and can’t wait to meet all of you. Being a part of Kappa has been the best support system I have ever experienced. Welcome to your new home we love you already.
