Hi guys I’m Kylee and I am the Vice President of Standards for Kappa! I am from a SUPER small town, North Bend, Nebraska (about 2000 people total) and am a junior working towards a Human Development and Family Science major with a minor in Fashion Design. I plan to own my own clothing boutique some day. So long story short, I loooove clothes! However, my role as VPS is to make sure the chapter is up keeping Kappa Kappa Gamma values, standards, and policies. My committee and I promote unity and good morale as well as plan sisterhood events for the chapter! Welcome home :)
Assuuhh dude (ok sorry) I’m Katie(: I am an Elementary Education major from Papillion, NE. As VPO I handle the chapter calendar, organize & advise committees, and guide our semesterly Leading Consultant around Sigma chapter. (A Leading Consultant is a Kappa Nationals representative that visits once a semester to help guide the leadership of our chapter). I also offer opportunities for members to give feedback on events, leadership, etc. My goal this year is to ensure that all members feel important to our chapter (because you are!!). Some of my hobbies are eating an unhealthy amount of jimmy johns, watching the FEFE music video, and playing the ukulele. I have 4 big dogs (Newfoundland, Yellow Lab, Great Dane, German Shepherd) that I miss soooo much so whenever a puppy comes to the house my day is made! As the recording secretary, I keep track of members attendance to Monday night meetings and larger events like Philanthropy! Hey there! My name is Clare Ellerbee and I am from here in Lincoln. I am currently studying Secondary Education with an emphasis in Family and Consumer Sciences. I am the Sigma chapter Marshal. My job consists of keeping the rich traditions of Kappa alive, and teaching the chapter about our ritual and beautiful songs. Initiation is a huge part of my job in the fall. I also teach the chapter appropriate dress, and make sure that everyone is appropriate for meeting. I truly love the tradition and history of Kappa, and I really hope to share that passion with the whole chapter. Hi I’m Mollie! I’m from Phoenix, Arizona and I’m an Accounting major with a minor in Spanish. My role as the Education chairman is to help the Seniors with anything they may need as they begin the transition into an alum. My committee and I plan two banquets each year. In the spring, we have Celebrate Sigma which honors the seniors and recognizes all the hard work that each and every kappa has put in for the year. In the fall, we plan founders day which is a celebration of the founding of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I love traveling, cooking, and exercising, and I am obsessed with my dogs! Welcome to Kappa!
Helloo! I am Chloe Discoe and I was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska! I am majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Psychology and hope to work with a non-profit after graduation! My role as the KKG house chair is to work with the Kappa staff to make sure the house is a clean & organized place for our members to have an unforgettable living in experience at the infamous 616! My duties also include making sure that every member is following the house rules that are expected to be followed by every member across the board. Once a month, I meet with our house board and go over certain issues and plans we have for our AMAZING chapter in the future. I work with my committee to be my extra set of eyes and to help plan sisterhood events as well as a staff appreciation dinner for our lovely staff.
Hey guys, My name is Regina Brokke and I am from LaVista, NE. I am an accounting major, and I plan on getting my master’s degree, sitting for the CPA exam, and hopefully landing a job as an auditor at a public accounting firm! I am our chapters Membership chair which means I will be in charge of planning this upcoming recruitment, and I’m so pumped! Recruitment, while it is a lot of work, is one of my favorite weeks. My favorite things in this world are pepperjax steak bowls, dr.pepper, and the husker volleyball. If you ever need a sub for an intramural team you know who to ask. My committee works together to make sure we can finance the house and every council members objectives. The most challenging part of my position is tracking and making budgets but I enjoy having the opportunity to grow my relationships in Kappa and can’t wait to meet all of you.
