Join us for a casual, outdoors, socially distanced Alpha Gam Always! We’ll be in picnic shelter 313 at Al Lopez park where we’ll be able to spread out and reconnect with each other. Pre-packaged snacks and bottles of water will be provided. Bring your own chair, just in case the shelter fills up. Masks are not required at outdoor venues, but if you feel more comfortable with it, bring one.

OCTOBER

October 10th:  Football Game Watch, Noon, Beef O Brady's

College football looks a bit different this year, but the ACC, SEC and Big 12 Conferences are all playing.  Come join us as we gather to cheer on our favorite teams and maybe have some friendly rivalry competition!  We have a private room at Beef's and can socially distance there.  Significant others and kids are welcome!

NOVEMBER

November 7th:  Literary Muse ZOOM, 10:45am

Hosted by Clearwater Alumnae Panhellenic.  

Guest Speaker: Deanna Bennett, author of Anna: Going to AmericaAnna: American Journey and Anna: American Dream. This historical trilogy is a tribute to her grandmother and all other immigrants who braved amazing hardships in coming to America in the early 20th century.  She has additionally written short stories and numerous travel and fine arts articles. Her story "The Quest" is included in the collection of short stories in Florida On My Mind.

November 19th - TBAAC Alpha Gam Virtual Book Club, 8pm

Our book for November is "You are an Artist" by Sarah Urist Green.  At this ZOOM we will discuss what we will read for December or if we want to take December off.  The official Book Club for Alpha Gam has this selection covering both November and December.

January 30: St. Pete Panhel Fashion Show, 10am

Hosted by St Petersburg Alumnae Panhellenic, this event raises money for their annual Scholarship Fund. There are raffles and prizes. FUN NEW Fashions are modeled by Panhel members. Please help support this event!
Cost $30 per person  RSVP by Jan 23, 2021
Location: Isla del Sol Country Club at 6000 Sun Blvd, St. Petersburg
Come enjoy breakfast with your sisters and preview of new spring fashions from Patchington's.

FEBRUARY

February 20: Tri-City Luncheon, 11:30am

Hosted this year by Clearwater Alumnae Panhellenic, this annual event invites all three local Panhellenic groups to join together for a special luncheon.
Location: Maggiano's, 203 West Shore Plaza, Tampa
Cost: $35 per person. ($36.95 online credit card) Must RSVP by Feb 15 and pre-pay in advance. 
Luncheon includes Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, Vegetables, Salad and Dessert.
CASH BAR will be available.
Guest Speaker Tracy Walder, "Women's Empowerment Series: The Unexpected Spy".
Tracy moved straight from the idyllic safety of the USC Delta Gamma house to the Middle East beginning five years as a CIA covert operative, defying female barriers along the way. She traveled to war zones, assumed aliases, interrogated terrorists and thwarted chemical attacks. Following that she became a Special Agent at the FBI specializing in Chinese counter-intelligence. Tracy has received numerous awards including DCI Counter-terrorism Center Medal and Meritorious Unit Citation award.
Tracy will sign copies of her book The Unexpected Spy: My secret life chasing down some of the world's most notorious terrorists.
